Labour Production Entry For Time Change

 

This option allows you to change the time of Production (both Normal and Rework) that was booked through Labour Production Entry option. A list of all Production details booked by various employees against a particular Work Order Number will be available. The user can enter the new Setup Time, Operation Time, Idle Time, Non-Productive Time, Overtime, Start Time and End Time. Please note that IMMS allows to change only the time and not the Production Quantity.Once the new Time is saved, the Labour Production details will be updated accordingly and will be available for further changes if required.

 

Additionally, a separate grid will also display Employee and Date wise Operation details for all Work Orders / Shops/ Work Centers.

Field Description of Labour Production Entry For Time Change

Work Order Details

This sections denotes the Work Order Number against which the booked Production details have to be changed.

WO Year:

Denotes the Year of WO.

 

Current financial year will be displayed by default. You can change it. To do so, click on the field to access a list of Financial Years under which WOs already exist. Select your desired Year from the list by scrolling down to it and pressing <ENTER>. Alternatively you can also enter the Year. Press <TAB>.

 

WO Group:

Denotes the Group of WO.

 

Click on the field to access a list of WO Groups under which WOs already exist for the selected Year. Select your desired WO Group from the list by scrolling down to it and pressing <ENTER>. Alternatively you can also enter the WO Group. Press <TAB>.

 

WO Site:

Specifies the Site of the Work Order.

 

Click on the field to access a list of already defined Sites. Select your desired Site from the list by scrolling down to it and pressing <ENTER>. Alternatively you can also enter the Site.

Please note that the Site(s) will be displayed/accepted as per the following conditions -

  • In case the 'Site Required?' flag is 'On' through Document Control Master option in Administrator Tools Module, then only those Sites will be displayed which have been linked with the selected Year and WO Group.
  • In case the 'Site Required' flag is 'Off', then all the Sites that have been defined for the current Company through Site Master option of Administrator Tools Module will be displayed.

 

WO Number:

Denotes the WO Number for which booked Production details have to be changed.

 

Click on the field to access a list of WO Numbers belonging to the selected Year , WO Group and WO Site created through Work Order Maintenance option of Planning Module. Select your desired WO Number from the list by scrolling down to it and pressing <ENTER>. Alternatively you can also enter the WO Number. Press <TAB>.

 

Please note that only those WO Numbers will be displayed/accepted against which Production has already been booked through Labour Production Entry option.

Operation Details

A list of Operation details for which Production (both Normal and Rework) has already been booked by various Employees on different dates for the selected Work Order Number through Labour Production Entry option will be displayed in a grid as follows -

 

Please note that the starting fields of the grid will display details belonging to the Production for your reference purpose that can not be changed. You can change the Time by entering new data in the following fields -

 

Field Description of the grid -

Setup Time:

Automatically displays the already booked Time of Setup for the Operation for your information. It can not be changed.

 

New Setup Time:

Click on the field. Now enter the new time taken to set up the Work Centre in Hours:Minutes:Seconds format. You need to press <TAB> after entering the number of Hours, Minutes and Seconds.

Please note that in case the total production time ('New Setup Time' + 'New Opr Time') is more than the percentage of excess allowed on standard production time for the Operation (specified through Work Order Maintenance - Process Sheet Details option of Planning Module), IMMS will display an appropriate message. Also the Reason for the same becomes mandatory to be entered in

'Remark for Excess Time Entry' field displayed in the end of the grid.

 

Please note that IMMS does not allow an Employee to book more than 24 hrs of production in a single day. Hence if the already booked hours + currently entered production time is more than 24 hours, an appropriate message will be displayed.

 

Opr Time:

Automatically displays the already booked Time of the Operation for your information. It can not be changed.

 

New Opr Time:

Click on the field. Now enter the new time taken for the Operation to be performed in Hours:Minutes:Seconds format. You need to press <TAB> after entering the number of Hours, Minutes and Seconds.

 

Please note that in case the total production time ('Setup Time' + 'Opr Time') is more than the percentage of excess allowed on standard production time for the Operation (specified through Work Order Maintenance - Process Sheet Details option of Planning Module), IMMS will display an appropriate message. Non Productive Time:

Automatically displays the already booked Non-Productive Time for the Operation for your information. It can not be changed.

 

New Non Productive Time:

Click on the field. Now enter the new time for which the machine was non productive in Hours:Minutes:Seconds format. You need to press <TAB> after entering the number of Hours, Minutes and Seconds.

Please note that IMMS does not allow an Employee to book more than 24 hrs of production in a single day. Hence if the already booked hours + currently entered production time is more than 24 hours, an appropriate message will be displayed.

 

Idle/Non-Prd Code:

Denotes the reason for Idle or Non-Productive time.

 

This field will be enabled only when New Idle Time or New Non Productive Time is entered. Or else it will remain disabled.

 

Click on the field to access a list of existing Idle/Non-Productive Codes defined though Idle Non-Productive Master option. Select your desired Code from the list by scrolling down to it and pressing <ENTER>. Alternatively you can also enter the Code. Press <TAB>.

 

Description

Description of the selected Idle/Non-Productive Code will be displayed automatically.

 

Overtime:

Automatically displays the already booked Overtime for the Operation for your information. It can not be changed.

 

New Overtime:

Click on the field. Now enter the over time for this Operation in Hours:Minutes:Seconds format. You need to press <TAB> after entering the number of Hours, Minutes and Seconds.

Please note that IMMS does not allow an Employee to book more than 24 hrs of production in a single day. Hence if the already booked hours + currently entered production time is more than 24 hours, an appropriate message will be displayed.

 

Start Time:

This field will be visible only when the flag 'Want to maintain Start and End datetime wise Labor Production?' is set as 'On' through Shop Policy option of Administrator Tools Module. Otherwise it will not be visible.

 

Automatically displays the already booked Start time for the Operation for your information. It can not be changed.

 

New Start Time:

This field will be visible only when the flag 'Want to maintain Start and End datetime wise Labor Production?' is set as 'On' through Shop Policy option of Administrator Tools Module. Otherwise it will not be visible.

Click on the field. Now enter the new Time at which the Process should start.

End Time:

This field will be visible only when the flag 'Want to maintain Start and End datetime wise Labor Production?' is set as 'On' through Shop Policy option of Administrator Tools Module. Otherwise it will not be visible.

 

Automatically displays the already booked End time for the Operation for your information. It can not be changed.

 

New End Time:

This field will be visible only when the flag 'Want to maintain Start and End datetime wise Labor Production?' is set as 'On' through Shop Policy option of Administrator Tools Module. Otherwise it will not be visible.

 

By default the New Start Time will be displayed automatically which can be changed. Click on the field. Now enter the new Time at which the Process should end.

 

Remark for Excess Time Entry:

(Type : Alphanumeric, Length : 255)

 

This field will be visible only when the total production time ('Setup Time' + 'Opr Time') is more than the percentage of excess allowed on standard production time for the Operation (specified through Work Order Maintenance - Process Sheet Details option of Planning Module).

 

Click on the field. Now enter the reasons or remarks for Excess Time entered.

 

Remark:

(Type : Alphanumeric, Length : 255)

 

Enter Remarks, if any, related to the Work Order Item being produced. Press <TAB>.

Employee & Date Wise Operation Details for All WO / Shops / Work Centers

The below grid will display Total Time booked by each Employee for each Operation on each day for all Work Orders being executed on Shop Floors by all Work Centers. It will also reflect the new Time entered. Total Time booked is calculated as Setup Time + Opr Time + Idle Time + Non Productive Time + Overtime.

 

This grid is only for your reference purpose and no changes can be made to it.

 

 

Once you have entered the new Time for the production, click on 'Save' button to save it. Once the new Time is saved, the Labour Production details will be updated accordingly and will be available for further changes if required. Click on 'Cancel' to discard.
